Day 1

March 1, 2024 : Accra Arrival

Arrival of Participants

Upon arrival, we will be met by our Representative. Our private motor coach will be waiting to take us to our hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Please take note that the check in time at the hotel starts from 13:00pm, so breakfast will not be available in case we arrive early morning. We will therefore passby a restaurant to buy tea or coffee with sandwich at our own expense. (D)

March 4, 2024: Accra City Tour

After breakfast we board our bus and depart for sightseeing tour in Accra. We will drive through Kwame Nkrumah Circle and various areas in Accra. We will visit Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum and the W.E.B. DuBois Centre. We will finally end our program at the Arts Centre where we will have an opportunity to use our bargaining skills to shop at an open-air market for artifacts from Ghana and West Africa. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B,D.)

Day 5

March 5, 2024: Cape Coast Slave Trade

After early breakfast we check out from the hotel and depart to Cape Coast where we will visit the slave dungeons of Ghana. We will continue with a city tour in Cape Coast. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B.D.)

Day 6

March 6, 2024: Kakum National Park – Kumasi

After breakfast we depart to Kakum National Park. This is a reserved forest with over 40 large mammals, butterflies and bird species. The most popular attraction in the forest is the Canopy walkway. We will drive to Kumasi. The Capital of Ashanti Region. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B,D.)
Day 7

March 7, 2024: Kumasi

After breakfast we will visit Prempeh II Museum at the National Cultural Centre. We will continue to visit The Military Museum. We will pass through Kejetia Market to visit Manhyia Palace Museum. We will drive to the craft villages of Ahwiaa woodcarving and continue to Bonwire to see the Kente weaving market. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B,D.)
Day 8

March 8, 2024: Kumasi Accra.

After breakfast, we depart to Accra. Dinner an overnight at hotel (B,D.)

Day 9

March 9, 2024: Farewell Night (group’s Own Arrangement)

After breakfast, we will have opportunity to visit traditional activities over the weekend, such as wedding, funeral, etc. In the evening, will be a traditional dance and music activities to say good bye to all participants. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B,D)

Day 10

March 10, 2024: Departure To Homeland

Departure to our homeland with wonderful memories.
